Live at Skronkathon

about

'Live at Skronkathon' is a solo set from sixteen years ago at an all-day marathon music extravaganza at the now defunct 21 Grand venue in Oakland. At the time I was in the throes of my mantra strumming— meditating on the Iraq War and some of the powerlessness that I felt within all that is just not right in our world. I was also collaborating with Marjorie Sturm on a video and music project called 'Sun Heals Life'—of sunsets and political unrest. This particular set is on the verge of a noise trance.
